Tinker Time For David Moyes As West Ham Chase Three Points: Predicted XI
Midfield
LM: Jesse Lingard
The man of the moment, Jesse Lingard, is certain to start his sixth games for West Ham. Lingard has been nominated for player of the month after his impressive February, scoring three goals and assisting two more in only five games.
CMs: Tomas Soucek & Declan Rice
Who else but the main men in the middle of the park. Marcelo Bielsa has already earmarked Soucek and Rice as one of the best midfield partnerships in the Premier League. The duo were excellent against the Yorkshire side in the reverse fixture, and Moyes will be hoping to see the same performance from his stars at the London Stadium.
West Ham United
Rice will continue to captain the side on the pitch. The England international is desperate for the club to qualify for the Champions League next season. Rice believes that the club is good enough to make it as their position in the table suggests.
If he did need even more motivation to play to his best, Soucek would have received another reason in the week. The midfielder was linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona. Though a move is very unlikely, even rumours with such a team are complimentary for any player. Soucek aims to play at the top of the game and will want to prove he is worthy of interest from big clubs.
RM: Jarrod Bowen
After being dropped against Manchester City for a less than ideal couple of months of form, Bowen will be raring to go against Leeds. The winger started the season in fantastic form but has suffered a drop off recently in terms of goals and assists.
Bowen set himself the target of double digits for goals this season; he is only on five at the moment. If he wants to reach his target, he will have to have an explosive final 12 games. Leeds could present the perfect opportunity for him to start firing again.
