Lukasz Fabianski has been back to his fantastic self this season and has made many key contributions to West Ham’s defence this season. The goalkeeper is thrilled with the teams season and knows what the Hammers strengths are ahead of a crucial run-in.

West Ham are currently challenging the Premier League establishment and are fighting for a place in the Champions League spots. Currently 4th in the Premier League table, the Hammers have everything to play for in the final 13 matches. Fabianski knows why the club are finding success, and it is by being to be hard to beat.

"“With us, you know we’re going to be tough and hard to beat and we’re very consistent when it comes to that. We understand our strengths and weaknesses and we try to be very quick in our transitions, for example, and effective in the way we attack the opponents’ box”Lukasz Fabianski on West Ham"

David Moyes has improved the unity in the squad and has got all the players working hard for the team. All the players in the squad have praised the manager for getting the best out of them at separate times in the season. Fabianski himself has improved this season and has been putting in top drawer performances.

The European experience Fabianski has from his time at Arsenal could be crucial for the Hammers in their challenge in the league. The Polish goalkeeper has played in the Champions League with the Gunners and managed four clean sheets in 14 games. Fabianski is used to a challenge in the table and focused on the task at hand.

"“I don’t think we are thinking about the possibility of European football at the moment, if I’m being honest, at least me personally, I think our approach so far this season has been just to prepare well for each game and do our best in each game. What has been clear to see as the season has gone on is that we feel more confident in ourselves when we play each game, so we feel we can compete against anyone.”Fabianski on European ambitions"

West Ham face some tough opposition in their next four games. Matches against both Manchester clubs, Leeds and Arsenal. If Fabianski and co are on top form and can grab a couple of results, it could do their European ambitions a world of good.

The 35-year-old has managed to keep eight clean sheets in 24 Premier League appearances this season. This record is already better than last seasons, despite Fabianski playing one less game. The keeper should be in line for a new contract come to the end of the season.
