After a tough loss at home to Manchester United, West Ham must rebound quickly, as they have a tough matchup with Leeds United this Friday.

As frustrating as the match was, West Ham cannot let the defeat to Manchester United get them down too much. United are a great attacking team, and sometimes mistakes are made.

As for the opponent this week, Leeds United have been very solid in the club’s return to the top flight of English football. Although not very high in the table, Marcelo Bielsa’s men play a very exciting style of attacking football that has many Premier League fans excited.

Leeds however, are dealing with a bit of an injury crisis to their backline at the moment, with the expectation being they will be without a few key defenders for the match. The Irons must take advantage of this issue.

Although the pressure will rise on the whole squad to perform against a depleted Leeds side, no player will have more eyes on him than Sébastien Haller.

Haller, although his statistics look solid this season, has yet to impress many Hammers fans in big matches throughout his West Ham career thus far. Can this match be his breakout performance?

This fan believes it will be a coming-out party for the big man. Haller will need to use his aerial skills to really attack the center of the Leeds defence. If he can be effective in the air, this will really help out with what David Moyes is trying to do with the Hammers attack.

Although it will not be an easy match by any stretch of the imagination, I really believe that Haller’s play will be the key to victory in this match. When Haller starts to play well, it seems as though the entire attack starts to click as a whole.

The Hammers could really use the three points here, and they will try and continue the quest towards a top ten finish in the league. Leeds are a great side, but West Ham should control this game, and hopefully will be clinical enough to put this one away early. Come on you Irons!
