All of our Green St. writers predict West Ham will get at least a point against a Fulham side that is coming off their first win of the season.

West Ham saw their four-match unbeaten run come to a frustrating end as they lost at Anfield last weekend. Fulham, however, picked up their first win of the season against fellow relegation favourites West Brom.

Justin: West Ham 1-1 Fulham

On paper, West Ham have more talent than Fulham. The Cottagers are favourites to go down and have struggled mightily to defend.

However, Fulham just picked up their first win of the season in a comprehensive victory over West Bromwich Albion and have not been more confident thus far this season.

West Ham did look decent at Anfield last weekend but ultimately came up short. It will be interesting to see if the same 3-4-3 formation will be used against a team that will not have as much possession or quality on the ball as West Ham’s last several opponents. West Ham will surely have less counterattacking chances, the main way they have scored their goals.

The Hammers have also shown a trend of playing up and down to their competition, beating teams in a surprising fashion but ultimately coming up short against teams they should beat. Being cautious, I’m going to say that West Ham only pick up a point. I hope I’m very, very wrong, but maybe it’s just me just protecting myself from inevitable irritation.

Adam: West Ham 2-0 Fulham

There shouldn’t be too much turbulence for West Ham in this match, and 2-0 may flatter the Cottagers here. West Ham have performed admirably in the face of their terrible fixture list and that momentum should carry them forward to a convincing win against the relegation favourites.

This needs to be Sebastien Haller‘s coming out party this season and he will have every opportunity to pick apart an under-performing and underwhelming defensive core. Should he get in the goals early and often, he will build confidence and it will be a long match for Fulham.

Jack: West Ham 3-0 Fulham

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

Now that our difficult run of fixtures has ended, we have to be looking to push our way up the table. We’ve gained an impressive eight points from a run of six challenging games that has included the likes of Spurs, City, Wolves, Leicester, and Liverpool and we now need to kick on.

We should definitely be looking to take the three points from Fulham this Saturday as we’re playing some of the best football we’ve seen since our move to the London Stadium. While Fulham have just kickstarted their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over West Brom, the Cottagers are still defensively frail and will be there for the taking.

While we will be without Antonio, we have the attacking depth to be able to cause Fulham real problems. If Moyes plays Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen close to Sebastien Haller, then Scott Parker‘s defence will be under a lot of pressure for the majority of the game.

The only way that I see us not taking the three points is if we become complacent and we cannot afford to be doing that this season. As long as we take Fulham seriously, then we will come out on top. Haller gets a brace with Bowen getting our third.

Lou: West Ham 2-0 Fulham

West Ham, for the first time since the opening day, heading into this match as favourites. And given how well they managed to do in what has been a more than difficult run of fixtures, they should be confident as they face Scott Parker’s Fulham side.

The Cottagers won their first match of the season against West Brom last weekend, so they should also be in a confident mood themselves, but the Hammers have a new-found resilience to them and this is a perfect opportunity to build on their promising start to the campaign.

I’m going to predict a fairly comfortable win for the Hammers, with goals from Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek to earn them the points.
