Jarrod Bowen has tipped West Ham to carry on their good form and pick up a positive result against Liverpool on Saturday.

West Ham have been on good form this season and are unbeaten in their last four games. The Hammers have beaten Wolves and Leicester before respectable draws against Tottenham and Manchester City.

Jarrod Bowen has been a key player for West Ham, the January signing from Hull has scored three goals in his last four games. The Englishman has proved to be a good signing from the Championship and has become a fan favourite.

The 23-year-old is also happy at the club and in an interview with West Ham he has spoken of how good the teams mentality is in the dressing room at the moment. Especially after the team pulled together to fight back against Spurs and earn a draw against City.

"“There is real unity in the camp and even the impact the subs made against Spurs – Yarma, Manu and Snoddy – made a difference, which the gaffer wants. It’s not just the starting XI, it’s everyone involved in the matchday squad, so credit to them as everyone is putting in performances.” Bowen on squad unity."

The Hammers take on the Premier League Champions, Liverpool, on Saturday. Bowen is backing the club to continue to their positive run of results against the Reds. Liverpool are going into the match without some of their key players such as Fabinho and Virgil van Dijk.

The injuries to key players such as Fabinho and van Dijk, along with Joel Matip and Naby Keita mean that the Reds are struggling for first-team defenders. Joe Gomez is now the only fit senior central defender in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

The winger made his second appearance for West Ham against Liverpool last season and was unlucky not to score after he was denied by Allison. Bowen has backed the Hammers to carry on their run of good form against the current champions.

"“I think we know how strong the Liverpool team is, but on the back of our performances against Tottenham and Man City, we feel we can take it and go there hoping to achieve as much as we can.“We know they’re going to have a lot of the ball and try to hurt us in different ways, but as long as we defend well and stay compact, which we always need to do away from home and especially at Liverpool, we can give ourselves a great chance.” Bowen said."

Before the season started Bowen set himself a goal target of double figures and is on course to hit that target. The Englishman will fancy himself to get on the scoresheet against Liverpool with their weakened defence.

In other news, the club are sweating on the fitness of Michail Antonio. The makeshift striker was forced off in the match against Manchester City with a suspected hamstring injury. The club have been reliant on Antonio’s work rate upfront and the goals he has been scoring with irregular regularity.
