West Ham players come through unscathed during internationals
Fans can never enjoy the international break as players risk picking up injures, West Ham, however, appears to be unscathed in the lasted international round.
There were fears last week that Arthur Masuaku, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal could be out for West Ham. Masuaku withdrew himself from the DR Congo squad after picking up a knock. Whereas with the Czech’s they were close to a COVID-19 outbreak.
Luckily for Hammers fans, Masuaku’s withdrawal was a decision made by the player as he did not want to risk missing the Tottenham match. Coufal and Soucek will both be available after both tested negative for the virus. Coufal however, did have a scare but quickly put rumours to bed on social media.
Declan Rice was substituted against Norway during Englands 1-0 defeat. The 21-year-old had a good game himself and avoided picking up any damage and should be fresh for the match on Sunday. Rice impressed the England manager, Gareth Southgate in the latest round of international fixtures.
