West Ham tipped for relegation by Super-Computer.
If West Ham fans were not already worried about the upcoming season, then those who listen to talkSPORTS supercomputer will be more worried than most.
The Radio station has a ‘supercomputer‘ that they use to predict the Premier League season at the start of each campaign. West Ham have been tipped for relegation in the supercomputers simulation of the season.
To be precise, the supercomputer has the Hammers finishing 19th in the Premier League. After escaping relegation in 2019/20, the club now will apparently only finish above Fulham but will be sat behind West Brom, who are also relegated.
The computer also predicts Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City to take the top four spots. The big change at the top though is that the Citizens will reclaim the Premier League trophy and Liverpool failing to retain the title.

Fans are already concerned about the clubs’ prospects this season due to activities in the transfer market. David Moyes’ squad is in desperate need new blood, especially in the defensive areas. The Hammers finished last season with the fifth-worst defence in the league.
The Hammers are in desperate need of a new left-back, centre-back and right-back. The current options simply aren’t good enough and have suffered from a lack of investment. Left-back has not seen any new blood since Patrice Evra was signed on a short-term contract a few seasons ago.
The signing of Evra shows exactly where the club has gone wrong. The Frenchman was a failure, meaning the club are still reliant on Aaron Cresswell, who has declined in the last couple of seasons. The other option, Arthur Masuaku, has proved to be a capable player but is not consistent enough to play at left-back.
If the club continues to fail in the market, they will fall far behind their competitors making Premier League survival even harder. The Hammers have even contributed to this by selling Grady Diangana to West Brom for £18 million.
The supercomputer prediction, as ominous as it is, should not be taken too seriously. Last season the computer predicted the Hammers to finish 7th, which was very far from where the club did finish.
