Diangana is Happy to be back at West Ham home
Despite being out on loan last season and being linked with a move away, it seems Diangana is happy to be back at West Ham.
The winger developed massively last season under Slaven Bilic’s management at West Brom. Grady Diangana’s form has seen West Ham fans start to get excited about seeing him play more regularly in Claret and Blue.
Fans did get a taste of what to expect from the flamboyant winger after his performance against Ipswich Town in West Ham’s preseason match. Diangana impressed hugely; the winger provided two assists for Sebastien Haller as the club cruised to a 4-1 victory.
Speaking to West Ham Diangana described that he happy to be performing well for the club.

Diangana’s words will be music to the ears of Hammers’ fans, some of whom may have started to think that Diangana may have been on his way out of the club. West Brom and Southampton had been linked with moves for the 22-year-old, but it is clear the Hammers don’t want to sell.
Furthermore, with West Ham’s failings to sign any players so far and look likely to miss out on top target Eberechi Eze, Diangana’s inclusion may soften that blow. Diangana arguably had a better season than Eze, as the Hammer produced more goal contributions per ninety minutes than the QPR man.
This could be great for the club and Diangana who said it is “lovely to represent West Ham again” signalling to fans that he still has the club in his heart.
"“I’m feeling happy for the team,” Diang said. “Obviously, everyone got a lot of minutes on Tuesday and proved that we are fit. I’m happy to be back and I’m really happy to be playing with my teammates again and finding ways that we can play together. It was lovely to represent West Ham again."
Looking ahead to next season Diangana has already appeared to have built a good understanding between himself and Haller. This will be crucial to West Ham’s success next season. Last season a few of the club’s attackers struggled for form, players like Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini could benefit with a little help from Diangana.
"“I like to help out others to succeed and score goals. For me, seeing others score and helping with that is just the same as me scoring as well. If I can help everyone else out – whether that’s through a pass or with a recovery run – I’m happy."
Of course, it would be nice to have seen a new attacker arrive in the transfer window, as it is always exciting. But, with Diangana showing his ability, it might not be necessary and the club should be doing everything to help the winger flourish this season.
