West Ham will continue their search for Premier League safety with a trip to Norwich. If the Hammers win at Carrow Road, it would relegate the Canaries.

David Moyes will be hoping his West Ham side can take their chances against Norwich on Saturday. The Hammers were incredibly wasteful against Burnley, Sebastien Haller, Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio were all foiled by Nick Pope as the Clarets won 1-0.

Norwich City is staring down the barrel at the moment. The Canaries are bottom of the league, ten points away from safety. Daniel Farke’s side has not won a Premier League match since February, losing all of their last six matches. Another loss in the league would spell the end to Norwich’s time in the top-flight.

A win would be crucial for West Ham’s Premier League survival. It would take them to 34 points, which could put the Hammers six points ahead of the bottom three, providing results go their way. But if Norwich pulls out a shock result it could leave the East London side back in the thick of a dogfight.

It should bode well for the Irons as they beat Norwich in the reverse fixture 2-0. Yarmolenko and Haller were on the scoresheet that day. That result saw the Hammers start challenging at the top end of the table, before Lukasz Fabianski‘s injury and the drastic decline that would soon begin and define their season.

TEAM NEWS

David Moyes could look to make some changes after the disappointing loss to Burnley. Aaron Cresswell‘s position at left-back has come in to question after some dismal defensive displays, this could give an opportunity to Arthur Masuaku.

The Congolese defender is yet to make an appearance since the restart but should have the pace to deal with Norwich’s winger Emiliano Buendia. Haller could also be given a start in order to allow Michial Antonio a well-deserved rest. This could see Bowen deployed more centrally and support Haller in the second striker role.

Moyes will likely be without Felipe Anderson, the Brazilian has been injured for the last two week and is nursing a hamstring problem. Whereas Robert Snodgrass remains a long-term absentee with a back injury.

Daniel Farke’s Norwich side continues to be plagued with injuries and the Canaries will be without Grant HanleySam Byram, Moritz Leitner and Christoph Zimmermann.
