Newcastle VS West Ham: Match Preview And GSH Predictions
West Ham United is for the first time in a while going into a Premier League match off the back of a win. The next team in their sights, Newcastle United.
West Ham’s win over Chelsea gave them a much-needed cushion ahead of the relegation zone. The Hammers are now sat on thirty points, three ahead of the bottom three and two ahead of seventeenth placed Watford.
A win for West Ham would put them level with fifteenth placed Brighton and should extend their lead over the other relegation candidates. Beating Newcastle could be enough to secure the Hammer’s Premier League status for another season.
Newcastle has been in fine form since the restart which should worry West Ham manager David Moyes. Steve Bruce‘s side has won two games and drawn one, meaning that the Magpies are unbeaten since the restart.
The Magpies good form has seen them close the gap on the top half of the Premier League table. Newcastle is only three points off ninth-placed Tottenham. Their goal difference might be far behind Spurs, but a win would do them a world of good in their chase for the top half.

David Moyes will be buoyed by the news that he will have a trio of players return for selection. Sebastien Haller, Arthur Masuaku and Mark Noble have all recovered from injuries and will be pushing for places in the squad. Haller will want to prove himself the most after seeing Michail Antonio succeed in his absence.
The Scot will, however, could be without winger Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian with due from the squad on Wednesday after picking up a muscle problem during the warm-up.
Steve Bruce has injury worries of his own. With the matches coming thick and fast it appears to have taken its toll on a small Newcastle squad. As many as six players have become doubts for the match on Sunday Bruce confirmed.
Sean Longstaff, Jamaal Lascelles, Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin could all be unavailable, which would be a big boost for West ham. Whereas, Florian Lejeune and Ciaran Clark will definitely be out of the game as they’re are recovering from injuries.
