Felipe Anderson had a great start to his West Ham career but since the start of 2019, the Brazilian has only found the back of the net twice in the Premier League. Anderson has scored once this season, in a 4-0 win over Bournemouth in at the London Stadium.

The 27-year-old has bettered his assist total from last season, Anderson has provided four assists this season. This is still far below what is expected from the £40 million rated winger. Anderson has struggled with injury at times this season which has not helped his form at all.

David Moyes’ return to the club also prohibited Anderson at times. The Scots defensive style has limited Anderson’s playing time, especially as he has struggled with a shoulder injury this year. Like Fredericks, Anderson has had time to return to full fitness and must hit the ground running when West Ham takes on Wolves.

Anderson on his day is probably one of the most talented players at the club and will be crucial for West Ham survival hopes. If the Brazilian winger can produce his best football, then the club should have no worries about getting the results they need to stay up.

Th ex-Lazio man could also be motivated the same way as Haller. Should West Ham be relegated Felipe Anderson would certainly be sold on, and he would do himself a big favour by performing well before he is put into the shop window.

The winger could be one of the players to flourish playing behind closed doors. Anderson has always seemed culpable of hiding in games when fans may be getting on the teams back. With the fans being absent it could be the rebirth of him.
