As West Ham will look to claw themselves out of the relegation battle starting on June 20th, manager David Moyes will have some tough selection choices to make.

Every match that the Hammers will play from now until the end of “Project Restart” will have an enormous amount of importance attached to it. West Ham will be fighting for their Premier League lives, which means that every decision will be magnified to an even greater significance. The one thing that will help the Irons throughout project restart is the fact that manager David Moyes will have a large selection of players to choose from, he just has to get it right.

Sure, there are some players who will be in the starting XI no doubt. Declan RiceOgbonna, and Fabianski are three guys that have been rock solid for the Hammers over the years, and Moyes should have complete faith in these players to perform at the highest level. However, there are a few interesting position battles that Moyes will have to make a tough choice.

One of those will be on the right side between Robert Snodgrass and brand-new signing Jarrod Bowen. Bowen will bring a great deal of pace and skill on the wing, and could be absolutely deadly on the counter. As for Snodgrass, his veteran prescience and dangerous ability on set-piece opportunities could see him get the nod. Both are very different players.

The other problem will be in the centre of the midfield. Captain Mark Noble has struggled at times this season, and with Jack Wilshere fit, that could be a position where Moyes decides to get a bit adventurous. Noble’s leadership may be crucial at a time like this.

Overall, the Irons every last move will be deeply looked at and potentially criticized over the next month. The squad is not in a great place right now, and Moyes really needs to get some performances out of his players. It will be very interesting to see how the Hammers fare once the season resumes in less than two weeks.
