West Ham United and the Premier League trophy may not exactly be synonymous, but over the years the Hammers have often produced players who have moved on to win the title, or perhaps in more recent seasons, offered one last big payday to over-the-hill former Premier League winners.

Many West Ham fans worry that the former is likely to happen again, as 21-year-old midfielder Declan Rice has been linked to a host of big names, with Chelsea seemingly the most interested, the club who released him when he was still in their academy.

It is not just the lure of the Blues that may attract Rice, however, as West Ham has, without doubt, regressed this season, as they sit just two places above 18th placed Bournemouth, only separated by goal difference.

The club will have to assure survival if and when the Premier League commences, as if relegated, Rice’s starting place in Gareth Southgate’s young England team may prove too valuable.

Enough of that doom and gloom, though, as it is time for another West Ham related quiz. Last week it was to name the ever-so-close Hammers squad from the heartbreaking 2006 FA Cup final, while this time around I shall be asking you to name as many players as you can who have won a Premier League medal, while also having played for West Ham at some point in their respective careers.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
