West Ham managers under Gold and Sullivan ranked
By Louis Pye
Since the devisive duo of David Gold and David Sullivan took over at West Ham in 2010, there has been somewhat of a merry-go-round of managers that have shared duties over the past decade, with some bringing more success to the club than others.
A lot has happened in East London in such a short space of time, such as the controversial move to Stratford and London Stadium from the beloved Boleyn Ground, as well as a heart-breaking relegation and a subsequent promotion straight back to the top-flight. This period at the club has also seen many great players come-and-go, with the likes of Scott Parker and Dimitri Payet playing their part in the trials and tribulations of the club, while current captain Mark Noble has served himself as an ever-present for each West Ham coach as he looks to finish his career on home soil.
It is fair to say that not all of these managers have worked on the same level playing field, with a bigger budget being granted to those who have coached at London Stadium in comparison to those who only had the pleasure to serve their time at the Boleyn. Though, after what was promised by the owners when leaving their spiritual home, it has still not been nearly enough to keep the fans onside.
Anyhow, that is a discussion for another day, and here I will be ranking each and every manager that has worked under Gold and Sullivan during their reign as the Hammers’ chairmen.
