Now we start out trek to the coveted number 10 starting out at number 19. Ian Pearce wore it twice but the best number 19 in Hammers history has to be Ginger Pele aka James Collins. Number 18 is packed with current attacking midfielders but from 1997 until 2001, Frank Lampard stole the show and wins the number.

The 17 kit has been worn by Chicharito, Jarrod Bowen, and my favorite Hammer’s right-back JOB but the winner for the number 17 is Hayden Mullins. Number 16 hasn’t seen too many famous players besides John Moncur and well Mr. West Ham but clearly we all know who it is right? Mark Noble will go down as the latest club legend and will forever leave a legacy at the number.

15 honestly came down to Diafra Sakho, Rio Ferdinand, and Kenny Brown but even though Sakho scores when he wants to, Rio takes the kit at 15. Bish, Morley, and Stewart all wore it for a year but the longest standing number 14, Pedro Obiang wore it best in his brief stint as a Hammer. At 13, it’s easy, just give me Adrian all day long.

Almost every West Ham legend wore the number 12 at some point in time but with the longest hold on the number and the most crowd love it has to go to Carlton Cole. Number 11 much like 12 has been worn a lot and currently by McMessi but Matthew Etherington takes home the kit in this tough matchup.

Now on to the coveted number 10. Clearly this was a tough choice with the like of Lanzini, Collison, Harewood, Paolo Di Canio, Tony Cottee, Sir Geoff Hurst, and Martin Peters but there was one that just soared above the rest and that is Sir Trevor Brooking. This is a place where you want to pick more than one and if you could, you might pick 6 others but Sir Trev is without a doubt a hero.
