The Green Street Hammers Predict: Leicester v West Ham
As West Ham embark on a daunting stretch of matches over the next month of time, can they pull out a win today against Leicester? Better yet, maybe just a draw?
The last time out the Foxes bounced back from a 1-1 second-half equalizer by the hands of Pablo Fornals to win 2-1. It’s only been less than a month since West Ham faced off against Leicester City but it honestly feels like an eternity. With that in mind, here’s how we think it’ll go today.

Leicester 2-2 West Ham
It’s easy money to think that West Ham can pull into the King Power Stadium tonight and walk away losers but when you look at form from the past few weeks, it’s pretty equal between these two clubs.
The Hammers will play better than last time out as this formation and the new Moyes system will start to click. Unfortunately, we are playing the Foxes so I wouldn’t expect a cakewalk either. Look for a late thriller that leaves everyone happy inside.

Leicester 1-1 West Ham
Although the Hammers have not been in the best form for a while now, the Foxes have struggled in their past couple of games as well. That being said, I do think the Irons will put in a performance that will make Irons fans proud, I just don’t know if they have the quality to get all three points. I think Robert Snodgrass gets the Hammers on the board, and the defense plays well enough to keep us in the match. The points will be shared at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester 1-1 West Ham
I think we’ll put in a solid but unspectacular performance against the Foxes to earn what would be a positive point.
With the news of Anderson’s prolonged absence, I’m not too sure that the starting XI that Moyes puts out will be any different to Saturday’s draw against Everton. Antonio is likely to be back in the squad but I’m not sure he’ll be risked as a starter.
Leicester isn’t in great form, with four losses in their last six Premier League outings, so now is as good a time to play them as ever.
Similarly to last season’s identical fixture, I think we will take the lead but eventually succumb to an equalizer from Rodgers’ men, carrying on our theme of the season – dropping points from winning positions.
The overall verdict seems to be that the Hammers leave Leicester tonight with at least one point. For their sake, let’s hope so because it’s about to be a long early spring for the boys in Claret n Blue! Be loud, be proud, and COME ON YOU IRONS!
