Are West Ham going to sign anyone before the window closes?
What if I told you that West Ham would sign someone before the window closes? Would you believe me? A more realistic question however is will they sign anyone?
This is a tale that West Ham fans are all too familiar with. Just 2 years ago David Moyes was the clubs new manager and they didn’t sign anyone except the “championship Messi” in the form of Jordan Hugill. Fast forward to now with 10 days left in the window and a need for new signings.
You have to be careful in what you hear and what you read this time of year, as the transfer window brings out all kinds of “reliable” sources. The truest answer we have for the question so far is that Moyes himself has said he wants to bring in a few new members but nothing yet.
It can be true that he wants to bring in new blood but it’s not hard to see why just look at the depth of the squad over the past few weeks. Any rumor out there currently is about as concrete as a fresh diaper and trust me, I would know.

The likes of Joe Allen, Ross Barkley, and outsiders like Berge and Embarba have popped up as of recent rumors but the truth is… can it be done in 10 days? Will bringing in some like Allen or Berge be enough to keep us up? Do we need anyone to keep us up? The cycle of untold goes around n around.
The question of do we need anyone and the title of the article is synonymous with each other. They combine because no, I don’t really think that West Ham will sign anyone this window but no, the Hammers don’t need anyone new to help keep them up… they just need to work together.
The squad is there, Moyes just needs to bring the right players into the right formation. The depth is coming back with Michail Antonio, Fabs, and Felipe Anderson all getting back to health. If Moyes and the boys get time to click and achieve what they want to do, then they can easily stay up.
Now, I hope that all ages like a bad draft beer because I want to see them bring in someone. However, the board probably sees the idea written before you as the best way ahead. So call it negativity or just bad juju from before but no I don’t think the board sign anyone and we see this squad fight tooth n nail over the next few months just to stay up.
