If you thought that times are rough at West Ham currently then don’t look at the next 7 scheduled matches. From bad to worse or worse to better, how will the Hammers fare?

We all want to win the FA Cup and what an interesting match that will be, but keeping that out it, these next 7 EPL matches are something that nightmares are made of for West Ham. Not only do they face the league leaders twice, but they also play 3 of the top 5 teams in the league right now.

Trying to keep the predictions to a minimum as they will come later, its time to see how many points the Hammers could possibly get over the next month or so… spoiler alert, the outlook is bleak, to say the least.

Saturday, January 18th – Everton at Home

As the match is tomorrow, the boys at the GSH have already made their predictions to include me. This matchup is one of two sides that can’t seem to get much of anything right. In a tightly contested snoozefest, this one will come out at a draw. (1 point)

Wednesday, January 22nd – Leicester City Away

Leicester City seems to be the only side from the non-traditional top 6 that want to continually try to stay up there. They are everything that West Ham supporters want from there club and will make that heartache worse by taking it to the Hammers.

Wednesday, Jan 29th – Liverpool at Home / Monday, Feb 24th – Liverpool Away

What a treat it would be to see the Hammers be the first side to beat Liverpool. With that being said, it won’t happen on this day or the 24th of February when West Ham travels up north as all of East London yearn for the days of old when Michail Antonio slid one past the keeper.

Saturday, February 1st – Brighton at Home

The Hammers earned their first point of the season away to Brighton earlier this season. As the Seagulls keep playing Potter ball, this will be another one of those matchups that will go down to the wire with West Ham grinding out a win. (2 points)

Sunday, February 9th – Manchester City Away

Manchester City has been a side that had given up points to lesser sides a few times this season and it could happen again when the Irons travel North to Manchester. However, much like the last time out against City, West Ham will end the day pointless.

Saturday, February 29th – Southampton at Home

Southampton has been a roller coaster of emotions almost as bad as West Ham, but not quite. They are playing well right now but in a month, who knows. After a disappointing January and February, West Ham will end the month with all three points in a shoot out. (5 points)

5 points out of 7 league games are nothing to write home about but that is what West Ham has to expect over the next month and a half. These 5 points would give the Hammers a grand total of 27 points after 28 matches played. Yes… you read that right.

Next. Would you take Barkley at West Ham?. dark

For the Hammers, the others bottom feeders around them, I.E. Watford, Villa, and Bournemouth all have equally as hard of a schedule over the next 7 matches but 5 points won’t get them out of the relegation battle with the final quarter of the season incoming. Next level, right?
