The Green Street Hammers Predict: West Ham vs Everton Round 2
The Toffies bring their new manager to town and face one of their old ones in the form of David Moyes now at West Ham. Can the Hammers get it done or will Everton win both this season?
After last weekend’s defeat for West Ham all but took the wind right out of everyone’s sails, they come into this matchup with heavy hopes yet undelivered results so far. What, if anything can change so this season can start looking up? And will it happen tomorrow?

West Ham 2-2 Everton
In a tough, sloppy affair between two underperforming sides, the Hammers and Toffees will share the points this Saturday. Sebastien Haller scores a brace for the Hammers, however, it will take a few games for the returning Darren Randolph to build chemistry with the Irons backline.
As a result, two defensive mistakes will happen but yet overall, it should be an entertaining and back and forth contest between two struggling squads.

West Ham 2 – 2 Everton
This match is a bit of a head-scratcher. Everton has been better under Ancelotti, and West Ham has been better under Moyes, who breaks in this one? The easy answer – no one, so why not a draw?
West Ham will undoubtedly come out in a three-at-the-back formation, which as proved against Sheffield United, isn’t yet fully embraced by the team. This means opportunities for Everton, who can capitalize. For the Hammers, set-piece success is a winning route – both defensively and offensively. Dominate corners and their center-backs are vulnerable!

After the disappointment of last weekend, this match is a great chance for Moyes and his team to get back on track. I personally don’t think we played that badly against Sheffield United, and with a little more luck, would have left Bramall Lane with a point.
Something we do need to improve on is our finishing, as with our shooting boots on, we maybe could have even taken all three points.
Much has been said about the protests before the Everton match on Saturday, and rightly so, but as soon as the whistle goes I’d love to see the crowd get behind the players on the pitch as, let’s be honest, we are in dire need of a win.

West Ham 1-1 Everton
It honestly doesn’t feel like that long ago that we lost away to Everton and yet here the Toffies come again. This matchup will be a battle within the war type of game with David Moyes seeing his old club come to his new home.
Both sides “should” be experiencing a new manager bounce but it’s almost too early to tell for West Ham if that will happen yet. Everton has been getting good results and slowly excelling past the Hammers.
Keeping all this in mind, this matchup will be better than the last time out for the club as we could see anyone get the ball in at this point and be happy. Getting a point from this match is ideal as the Hammers need something from this rough patch of play coming up.

West Ham 0-2 Everton
The lack of pace in West Ham’s side will prove costly. It is important that Fornals starts although I could see Everton controlling the midfield. They have a great manager in Ancelotti and West Hams only hope may be to set up defensively and play on the break.
Lou gets crazy and picks the Hammers to win big at home while the rest of us keep it conservative and close to the chest… or negative. The unfortunate part about where the club sits is that one slip up and you’re in the bottom three. Let’s hope this match kickstarts a fire some positivity for the Irons.
