West Ham v Leicester City should be easy to predict, right?

Just 2 days after a disappointing loss to Palace, West Ham are back at it this time against Leicester City. This should be easy to predict right?

The reason that it could be easy is the fact that West Ham has struggled to finish and close out matches something that Leicester has been really good at. The Hammers are once again in disarray and leave very little to the imagination when thinking about the upcoming match.

Back to the West Ham we all know and hate, Leicester City is going to steamroll the Hammers fairly easily and it won’t even be all that close. Both teams are coming off of losses, but getting beat up by the powerhouse Liverpool team the Foxes faced should put them in a good position to reestablish themselves, injuries aside, by beating down a much worse West Ham team.

The Hammers, on the other hand, are a team that snowballs on the negative and the 90th-minute loss to Crystal Palace should see them crumble again. Maybe there is a goal in this match for the Hammers, but what is the use in predicting it?

Snodgrass scooped up the only goal against Crystal Palace and I’m positive no one had that marked down. With Fabianski back, the lofty three predicted could and should be a smaller number, but with the firepower, Leicester has at their disposal, I don’t see them passing up the opportunity that these pathetic Irons are presenting to them.

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

This is the best time of the year to be a fan of an EPL team. Unless that team is the current team of the Hammers. There is nothing flashy or positive for the Hammers at the moment unless you want to hang your hat on a win against Southampton.

The Foxes might’ve just gotta thrashed by the league leaders but they are an aggressive side that plays well as a team. Both of those qualities are things that can and will tear apart this current Hammers side.

I do think that West Ham will keep it close and we will see a goal come in by Sebastien Haller but between the defense ball watching and the midfield eventually getting overtaken the Foxes will make easy work of our beloved Irons. Regardless if we see the return of Lukasz Fabianski or not.

West Ham 0-3 Leicester City

It’s one step forward, two steps back with this club. Sadly, this game is only ever going to send us closer to the drop zone. We blew yet another lead against Palace, and that is now 15 points dropped this season from winning positions.

We are so physically and mentally weak that it’s difficult to be confident whenever we take the lead. Leicester just got tonked by a rampant Liverpool side and we are the perfect team for the Foxes to take their anger out on. But will it lead to Pellegrini’s dismissal? Not likely.

Three predictions, three loses. As mentioned before, this time of year is a great time to catch up to the top of the pack, however, the Hammers are meeting this at the worst time possible. It is our club and it is the EPL so anything can happen and let’s just hope that the GSH staff in this instance are wrong.
