Is Manuel Pellegrini safe or in danger of losing his job at West Ham?
Like most things that surround West Ham at the moment, the topic of whether Manuel Pellegrini will be the Gaffer for much longer is confusing and unknown.
After another loss, this past weekend for West Ham many topics of discussion ensued from Roberto to the lack of defending, and even how things need to get better. No, it’s not Groundhog day but just another week in the revolving door for West Ham fans at the moment.
Probably the most annoying of these continued weekly topics is the one when the club and the Gaffer say and post things about how the club needs to get better and yet, nothing has happened. After the rough Burnley loss, Pellegrini took to the podium with just that.
When asked about the loss he commented with “yes well it is difficult to analyze the performance. Difficult to play when other team scores goals.” How confusingly right you are Gaffer and it is comments like this that have people calling for his head, however, as the title suggested, is Manuel Pellegrini safe or in danger of losing his job at West Ham?
Just as the fan base is torn, so too is the board at West Ham United or so it would seem. Although nothing has been published or sent out from club officials, a reputable source, ExWHUemployee, dropped a bomb on twitter yesterday further confusing the situation.

Although it does answer the question as to is he safe, I would say for now, but the fact that those close to the Gaffer has doubts leads to even more confusion. Why do people close to the club say one thing but people close to Pellers say another? More miscommunication? Anytime there is doubt of the unknown, stating the facts is the best way to see what’s really in front of you.
For starters, clearly the future of West Ham’s Gaffer is in doubt. The Irons were thumped again this past weekend making it 7 games in a row without a win. West Ham has gone from 3rd to 16th in the EPL and has a rough schedule ahead of them. And Finally, when we come back from the international break the Hammers face off against Spurs and will have not tasted victory in over 2 months.
Long story short, he appears safe for now. The only way to make sure his tenor in East London is extended past possibly even Christmas is to start winning matches and backing up on his word that things will be worked on. Also, it might help if he gets out of his old ways and finds a new way to win as the old ways are broke.
