Most of the news surrounding West Ham right now isn’t good. However, there is exciting news coming from the U23’s and out on loan and the Hammers have a decision to make.
First off, thank God that there is at least some hint of good news around West Ham. The young kids are playing well and the Hammers loaned out boys are, for the most part, looking sharp. Two of the players with the most potential out of this, Nathan Holland and Grady Diangana.
This is not the first time these two have come up on this forum, let alone many others out there that cover West Ham. Both players have been doing exceptionally well this season and something needs to happen so they can both progress up the line. But who and what needs to happen?
Grady Diangana
So far this season Grady was played in 13 matches while on loan at West Brom. He has scored 4 goals and helped 4 times with assists. It was inevitable that he would have to go out on loan even after having a solid “rookie” season with the club but I doubt that many folks saw him having this much success. His success for West Brom automatically equates to their success.
Nathan Holland

This guy is quite possibly the next best thing that will come out of the Academy. Holland now has 9 goals this season and put on a show on Monday at Swansea City (see above). Injuries have plagued him in the past which is how Diangana got a call-up but all seems well at the moment. He got 57 minutes in a Cup match this season but needs more.
Both Holland and Diangana are wing backs that can play on realistically either side. Both have pace and agility with a growing sense of finishing. Seemingly both are growing in strength (probably more so with Grady), which is what you need when it comes to playing in the EPL. At this point, I think most fans would take either one of them, but the option in the title still remains the same.
So, take your pick because, in this site expert’s opinion, I don’t know. Do you leave Grady on loan and let him play or do you bring him back and hope he gets playtime? Do you call up Holland and play him as you did with Grady last season or ship him out on loan for half of the season? So, take your pick and what would it be?
