West Ham United is very fortunate to have a legendary team leader in the form of Mark Noble. The now 32-year-old center midfielder seems to never be short on words when it comes to his feelings towards the club and its players.
Some players will talk to just be heard but when Mark Noble speaks West Ham should listen because he always has the club in mind and not just himself. In just the past two weeks Mark Noble has been questions about transfers, players leaving or staying, and just his general feelings toward the club.
One thing is for certain, not only is he a West Ham footballer, he is an East End boy.

Nobles comments on what West Ham should do in the transfer window isn’t only monetarily safe but safe in the fact that with young players comes a hunger. The Evening Standard ran a post on Mark’s thoughts about the comings and goings of players. His idea in the post of wanting more hungry young players who want to do well for the club is exactly right and exactly what the club needs.
Old should be the days of bringing in players in there 30’s just looking for a paycheck. Far too often have we done that and we can see another sign of that in the players that should and will be leaving the club. Speaking of players leaving Mr. West Ham has thoughts on one particular forward, Marko Arnautovic.
Arni was obviously trying to leave in the winter transfer window until the club said no, signed him to a new contract, and we decided he might stay. There is a lot of speculation if he will try that same stunt again in this window but one thing I think is important to note. Mark Noble has put him in his back pocket as of late and has stated that he wants Marko to stay. If are skipper wants him, then I do too.
I am not sure how much longer Mark Noble will be our captain or even an everyday player but one thing is for certain. His passion and love for the Hammers run deep. There is no one that I would trust more with on and off the field decisions than this guy. He may not be around forever but while he is, the board and the rest of the club should listen.
