Piatek is another player that ExWhuEmployee believes will not come cheap enough for the Hammers. He moved to Genoa last summer and is now already linked with a big move within Italy for nearly 10 times the fee exchanged only 7 months ago.

This one I think is still a more likely move than Werner, because Piatek does not have that superstar status. It is also unsure whether Milan will be waiting for him still in the summer, or they will be trying to make a big money move in January in order to replace the Chelsea bound Higuain. Again, we’re waiting on other moves in order to go for ours and that is a worry, but not too desperate a situation.

Arnautovic will not be moving unless we can find a replacement for a decent price, and I think that is a comforting position. With Payet we were set to lose him whatever and ended up having to settle for a lower price than we wanted to avoid paying for a player who didn’t want to play. With Arnie he will play, even if it means us having to sell him in the summer rather than now.
