West Ham travel to Fulham with both teams looking hard for a win. Fulham need to drag themselves out of the relegation zone somehow, and the Hammers are looking for win No.4 on the bounce. How do our writers think they’ll get on?

Jeremiah: 3-0 Win

As previously stated on the podcast, I think we win easily. Our offence has been seemingly clicking ever since the Newcastle match on the 1st of this month. The key to the Hammers victory is simple, strike fast strike often and Fulham will soon lose any interest and quit.

Fulham have potential and I don’t want to overstate that. However, they are not clicking. In any other year I would worry about a club that’s struggling playing West Ham. 9 out of 10 times that team would win. This year? I don’t think it’ll happen. I don’t ever want to guarantee a for sure win but this, to me, is it. 3-0 Win and 4 in a row! COME ON YOU IRONS!

Jeff: 2-0 win

This match provides West Ham United, its supporters and Manuel Pellegrini to see what they are made of. Win a 4th in a row, collect all three points and it can be safely said the club really has found their stride under their new manager since going winless in their first four matches.

Somehow finding a way to lose the match, or to come away with a draw in a less than full effort (See: Brighton, Huddersfield) and then it will be clear that there still is work to be done for the club and gaffer in the consistency department.

One thing for sure, Fullham haven’t allowed a clean sheet all campaign and the Hammers come in to the match having scored 9 goals in their last 3 matches.

Even though we will be without the services of Marko Arnautovic again, Chicharito has done his part in that goal scoring department as has Filip Anderson. Antonio and Carroll are also at the manager’s disposal to play up front, while Lucas Perez is game time decision after taking a spike in the match vs Palace. The current uptick in form also coincides with Mark Noble’s return to midfield. With the Club currently flying high, I don’t see the bubbles fading in this London Derby. I call it 2-0 to the Hammers. Adam: West Ham to win 3-1

I think West Ham have the self belief to take this game to Fulham and continue their win streak. Sure, Fulham have a lot of individually talented players but together they don’t play in any sort of fashion that scares me. Claudio Ranieri should have them more defensively drilled, although the succeeded playing long-ball counterattacking football with Leicester City, so I don’t know how successful he’ll be with Mitrovic up top.

I am giving Fulham one goal in this match simply because they’ll get corners and free kicks and eventually I assume Mitrovic will get on the end of one, but don’t be surprised if West Ham do keep a clean sheet like they should have against Cardiff. It should be a game West Ham can control down the wings with Snodgrass and Felipe Anderson. If Carroll should get the start look for him as a target or decoy in the box, instigating the West Ham attack.

Scott: 4-2 to the Hammers

As I wrote earlier in the week, there are certain times when supporting the Hammers you start to worry that it’s all going too well for you. So now after winning 3 in a row I’m beginning to feel like there’s a sucker punch coming. But I think this team can get through it.

dark. Next. Where will West Ham's injured fit back in on their return?

We’ve seen the Hammers outclass Newcastle, overcome a stubborn Cardiff and turn it around against Palace. I think we’re going to get a fiery Fulham side and will probably go behind again. However I expect us to win the fight to score the most goals, probably because we have more than one legitimate goal threat and a reasonable defence. But maybe I’m just getting cocky?
