Where will West Ham’s injury list fit back into the squad upon return?

Previous Role

Fredericks had yet to nail down a role at West Ham. He was brought in as the dynamic right back to learn from the experienced Zabaleta but he was cycled in and out of the side. He looked as though he struggled to step up to the quality of the Premier League, although he has the pace and dynamism required. His performances in the cups and matches he has been involved in give confidence of his potential.

Expected Return Date: Unknown

Role on Return

His return date is up in the air, which for me signals that he is going to be returned to action slowly. With Zabaleta securing the right back spot for now Fredericks doesn’t need to rush back. There is a lot of hope that he can step up over the remaining months of the season and into next one, especially with the Argentine not sure of his future past the end of the season.
