More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

Position: FWD

Price: 7.0m

Ownership: 16.8%

Pros: Regular goalscorer, West Ham’s only real source of goals

Cons: Carrying a niggle. One argument away from a red card

Probably the one Hammer who is bordering on ‘fixture proof’ as a forward. In 2018 only Salah has more Premier League goal contributions and he is still the main man at the London Stadium. It’s been hard to judge him recently because there has been a persistent niggle in his knee, and it’s obviously hampering him.

However with 4 goals and 1 assist in 9 games he’s hardly off the pace so far, and with ‘easier’ games to come I think he could start to rack up the FPL points. Pellegrini is likely to mix up playing him on his own or alongside Chicharito/Carroll. Either one is likely to give the Austrian more time and space on the ball and up those attacking returns.

Next. Leicester Duo will be hard to manage for West Ham. dark

He is the focus for almost every Hammers attack, and it’s certainly a surprise to see him no involved in a goal. If the fixtures do prove good for West Ham then expect to see him in almost every FPL side because he is reasonably priced and a reliable source of points. Yes there are options around him like Zaha or Mitrovic, but by New Year I think Arnie will have easily outscored both of them.
