Grady Diangana

When you score your first 2 goals for the club on debut that’s always going to feel good. Many strikers dream of such a start to their careers and Diangana went and did it. Again some social media critics may believe that it’s not too important because it’s against Macclesfield, but you can only score against the opposition you’re facing. And he did almost get a hattrick, with Snodgrass tapping in the rebound from his shot early on. Diangana looks very interesting for sure.

Diangana has played almost 60 games for the U23 side, filling in all across the front line. His pace and athleticism make him hard to keep track of, and his skill on the ball is eye catching as well. If last night is any show of his eye for goal, I’m excited for his future.

In terms of his past Diangana joined the club 8 years ago and has previously stated that he wanted to model his game on Brazil legend Ronaldinho. Whilst that may be a lofty ambition, if you don’t aim high you will never get there. Could the Hammers have a creative attacker ready to step up soon?

Trending. Did Hammers park the bus? And should they care?. light

For me Diangana is the perfect player for a loan move. He’s been at the club a long time and giving him the opportunity to prove himself against full time professionals in a lower league would really be the making of the youngster. Maybe a loan move in January is on the cards?
