Arnautovic is our driving force

If you don’t think Arnautovic has been our best player recently, I don’t know what you’ve been watching. Not only have all our best attacks come through him, but in defence he’s also worked exceptionally hard.

His sheer belief and desire to get results has carried us over the line. It has also actually got us goals. Not many people would have chased Begovic down against Bournemouth. Not many would have had the desire to get down the line against West Brom and get that cross in for Carroll in the 94th minute. But I worry about when he loses form.

Lanzini has looked OK in recent weeks, but not the sparkling creative he has been previously. Michail Antonio has a niggle and had looked tired beforehand. Andre Ayew doesn’t seem to gel particularly with much of the team, despite his goalscoring talents.

I hope that Spurs can’t contain Arnie, because everything runs through him at the moment. Or if they do, Lanzini will need to step up. For us to get something at Wembley we will need him at his best.
