The West Ham club captain was the centre of some angry words after the Crystal Palace clash.

Everybody who is reading my article must know that West Ham Drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace. If you did not, I’m sorry to to tell you that the Hammers also dropped a 2 goal lead. In addition, the saddest moment for the Hammers fans it was in the last minute of the game. Then Mark Noble got angry after the Palace’s player refused to shake his hands.

Noble, really? I know that tempers were running high and, if the story is true, Cabaye was an idiot. But there are better ways to push your frustrations. Squabbling on the pitch once the match is over is not the way to deal with things. It certainly doesn’t do much for the fans.

Noble must be a leader

It took a lot of thinking what to write after the game, I still do not know how to describe my perspective. West Ham showed a good performance in patches, but the Hammers unquestionably had forgotten that in football everything could change in a few seconds. Milivojevic and Zaha both scored due to the Hammers’ lack of desire to fight smart for the result.

I am not crazy; I know that Slaven Bilic has not had a good time in East-London. However, I cannot believe that it is only this. Noble is one of my idols in English football, I know I am Brazilian, but he is a person who has demonstrated a lot of effort for the club since I had begun to watch the Hammers.

Nevertheless, we have to be honest; he does not have played well since the first season under Bilic. Perhaps it might be because he is becoming older, thus, his footballing ability is not what is used to be.

Consequently, he must have better conduct on the pitch. What did he think at that moment? He hasn’t helped the team with this? However, at the same time, I know that footballers are still human, even though they get all the coverage. But people are stupid to other people all of the time, and you can’t get angry with it. Especially when you’re the leader of your side.

Next: West Ham must refind their soul

I am not trying to offend him, very much the opposite. I admire him, and I want him at the club, playing or not. However, as a leader, not as a man who is the author for some unnecessary scrap. If you’re annoyed at the result, use it to push your team in training. If the team had shown the same fight on the pitch as they did after the whistle, the Hammers would have won.

Sorry if you disagree and you think I’m badmouthing Noble, but I’ve total respect for him, mostly because has a lot of history in East-London. But he must learn to fight smart, not just fight. Pushing and shoving after the whistle doesn’t change results.
