Bobby Zamora is right to point out the issue with Chicharito
By Amanda Paula
The former West Ham player has said that Chicharito must receive more of the ball to make a difference at London Stadium.
The draw against Burnley just helped to increase the stagnant situation in East London. The current shape with Andy Carroll as the main striker and Javier Hernandez as a winger is making things more difficult than they used to be at West Ham.
Bobby Zamora, a former player who has scored more than 130 goals in the Hammers side, gave an interview on the West Ham Website. According to the Englishman, the Mexican striker’s problem is that he needs to receive the ball to score.

"“Chicharito is a bit like Jermain Defoe for me in that he’s always got goals and going to get goals and if you put that ball into the box he will take chances. If you give him the ball four times in the box, he is going to score one."
Hernandez needs to be the West Ham’s main forward
I have to agree with him, Hernandez has not received good chances to show his quality on the ground. After Carroll’s return, he was set by Bilic to play as a winger, which made us a predictable football side to our adversary.
Moreover, Hernandez now seems demotivated to play on our side as it seems the Irons manager has a preference to who is our best forward to the game. Even when he has not been a sensational player. Yes, I am talking about our lovely Andy Carroll.
The problem about Bilic is that he is stubborn; he does not like to change something that does not work in West Ham anymore. If he continues to do this, we will lose a good player in Chicharito and we could have a terrible season as well. I do not want both options, so we have to play a new formation to make the most of him.
Next: Jose Fonte, Flop to Fantastic
As was written by Scott Johnson, 4-2-3-1 formation has a possibility to work on Friday over Brighton at London Stadium. This time, we have Lanzini to give some creativity in the game, but we also have to see how Billic’s will behave. Especially, because after this inconstant campaign many fans are already losing patience with him.
