The last rumours claim that Jack Wilshere is looking with for a move to West Ham.

Jack Wilshere was one the most exciting English prospects and named as a standout talent in 2009. However, he has had many injuries in a past eight years since then. But now, according to The Times, the Arsenal player may be thinking about joining West Ham in the January window.

As stated by parts of the British press, Wilshere is in Gareth Southgate’s plans to go to the World Cup  2018 in Russia. However, to earn a recall to play for his country, he needs to have game time in his club.

The 25 years old is losing his patience at Arsenal because his contract expires in the summer. Thus, he has reportedly been discussing a move to the Hammers, but they will have to beat the likes of Crystal Palace to get him in the upcoming window.

Is Wilshere a good idea for West Ham?

This is a hard question, we do need to have good players in our squad, and he is certainly one of the cheaper options. On the other hand, I do not think Wilshere could be capable of being in Bilic’s staring 11. As I said before, he’s suffered many injuries in the past few years, and we have good players like Lanzini and Obiang in the regular squad.

However, West Ham do have a lack of good players on the bench, and he would be a good addition for this. However, as stated by the Times, he has lost his patience at Arsenal because he’s been on the bench. If he moves to East-London it would be almost the same thing and he would be frustrated again.

If his true desire is to go to East London to have more opportunities in England at the World Cup, he needs to think if the club is a good idea for his career. But if he joins it’ll increase the Irons’ level and they would be more prepared to do a better campaign in the Premier League. But, this doesn’t change the fact that sign him, we are having a high risk to have a new Andy Carroll. And fans don’t like to see players out for injuries too often
