West Ham got their first win of the season on Monday, beating Huddersfield 2-0. Can the Hammers keep it going?

It was a good time to get the first win, with West Ham playing at home for the first time this season. Bilic will be keen to keep the form rolling on, but West Brom will not be there to roll over. Tony Pulis doesn’t give away cheap points at home.

As such I think Bilic will keep the same system for now. There seems no reason to put more pressure on the defence after keeping a clean sheet, and although the football wasn’t pretty it was effective. Here is my lineup, starting from the back:

Joe Hart

The England No.1 came under some strong criticism earlier in the campaign, but was delighted to get his first clean sheet of the campaign. With this match set to be a tough one, he even alluded to it not being ‘one for football purists’.

This match is therefore going to show Hart under much stronger examination. The physical presence of Rondon could well be a battle Pulis hands to Hart, and they have a number of players on their side capable of hitting the ball well from distance. He will need to watch out whenever the ball approaches the Hammers’ box.

Set pieces will also prove a big examination of Hart and his defensive organization. Can the on loan keeper prove that he hasn’t lost his ability in this game? Or will he falter under the intense examination Pulis will demand his players to put Hart under?
