Going Forward

West Brom are up next and it’s hard to see them being bullied the same way Huddersfield were. They are a physical side and although they may not be able to beat Andy Carroll in the air regularly they will be up for a physical challenge and I cannot see him dominating in the same way again.

That being said Chicharito may be too small to play upfront on his own against West Brom. Whilst he may be clever enough to find space, he is likely to be bullied if isolated regularly. Antonio is the perfect player for a game like West Brom, because he can burst past people if they leave too much room and hold his own physically when they come tight.

Bilic has to make a big decision about whether Arnautovic will come back in. If you’d asked him in the summer then it would have been an immediate yes. However after the red card and a change of formation will we see him benched? I think Bilic may try and keep things similar for now, but he may have to think a bit more if he wants to get three points with the trip to the Hawthorns.
