Kelechi Iheanacho

This is a player I’ve wanted at the club for a while now, because he is definitely talented. Plus with him being considered third or fourth striker at City there is a big chance he will want to leave.

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

However, considering his talent, it is certain West Ham will not be in the only club interested. It has been mentioned a few times that decent German clubs are also in the hunt. However I do think that West Ham have a trump card in regards to first team football.

There aren’t many teams above the Hammers in terms of standing that would be able to offer first team football guaranteed. Those in Europe already have a decent strikeforce available to them, and those below arguably do not have the resources to challenge upwards. Hence if we offered strong investment around him, decent wages and first team football, the Irons have a decent chance.

Plus the fee most sources are talking about is around 20m. For that fee he is a bargain, considering the prices that have been thrown around in previous windows. If there is any chance of the board making this happen, I think they should be all over it.
