Daniel Sturridge

Could another injury prone striker be on his way into West Ham? Not permanently it seems, as the board seemed to have learnt their lesson.

An injury prone striker is one that will always frustrate, no matter how talented. Sturridge showed his ability against the Hammers last week and he would be the No.1 striker in the squad for sure, however it would drive many a fan mad to see him turning up to matches in a suit due to injury rather than in the starting XI.

But, as above, a loan move could well be in the works. This would enable the Hammers to have access to a top striker without the monetary outlay. The only issue in this move is quite simply whether Liverpool would make him available. Or if he’d want to leave if the club got Champions League football.

If they could get him, it would be a big addition. But if there was no loan deal available, I’d advise staying away.
