West Ham have been an embarrassment this year.

Let’s be honest. They don’t know any better if they’re going to get a result than the supporters sitting in the stands or the attendants in the car park do. It’s ridiculous. West Ham is full of too many career journey men and drifters with no attachment to the club.

Football needs passion and a perfect squad is built up of players who care for the club, those with things to prove, and experience. This should be across all ages in fairly equal measure. Right now the West Ham squad is built fairly poorly and this is one of the main issues.  The dead wood needs to be cut out to save the proverbial tree in this case.

Out:

Andy Carroll, Adrian, Alvaro Arbeloa, Darren Randolph, Diafra Sakho and Angelo Ogbanna.

More from Green Street Hammers - West Ham

In:

Dominic Solanke, Michy Batshuayi, Yuri Tielemans, Joel Veltman, Joe Hart and Kyriakos Papadopoulos.

Dominic Solanke

is the current disenfranchised Chelsea youth player that everyone will be mocking Chelsea for letting go in a couple years. He has pace, skill and finishing ability. West Ham should tempt him with the opportunity to stay in London and prove himself at the Premier League level. He’s going to be dangerous for many years to come. The opportunity to turn a profit five years from now as well as enjoy the rise is too good to pass up.

Michy Batshuayi

Another player who has been alienated after a season in West London people seem to have forgotten that Batshuayi lit up Ligue 1 like it was soaked in gasoline only a year ago. He would be a wonderful talent to add to the squad especially if West Ham can get a good deal for him.

Yuri Tielemans

This kid is going to be as good as Paul Pogba is going to be. They have similar styles of play but for my money Tieleman’s is a far better passer. He plays in a less flashy and more effective way. The West Ham midfield sorely lacks technical class. Simply having Tielemans growing in midfield will level up the entire platoon.

Joel Veltman

The current Ajax defender could be tempted by first team football and present a great long term impression.

Joe Hart

He’s a good goalkeeper and deserves to be playing in the Premier League. West Ham need a leader and Hart’s professionalism, pedigree and career successes will help him real in this West Ham team when they need it most.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos

Three years ago this kid was going to be the next great defender in Europe. Then he got hurt and it took longer to get back to full health than people thought. He’s back to his best though and has near unmatched tackling ability and heart for a player in his age group. He could add that necessary bit of bite that West Ham are lacking.
