West Ham United have signed Hull City for a reported fee of 10.2 million pounds according to multiple sources.
Many clubs were chasing Snodgrass but it appears as of now that West Ham United have made the signing. Signing a Premier League player for that sum in this day and age is pretty good going.
Snodgrass is a Scottish footballer who plays mostly as an attacking midfielder in the number 10 role. The left footed attacking player has a litany of skills that the squad deeply need. In recent matches the men on the pitch have been able to score goals and get forward with aplomb. That said the club would have been foolish to forget that they will likely be spending the rest of the season without Dimitri Payet and at any point a drop in form or an injury could have them struggling for goals again.

Premier League experience
Snodgrass has proven in years past to be a valuable Premier League player. With him in the side West Ham will be far more dangerous. He alongside Lanzini, Ayew and Carroll in the attacking third is suddenly something that will make West Ham a lot more dangerous.
With his deadly left foot and creativity it is a good signing for West Ham. Unfortunately at age 29 this is a move more for right now than the future. That though was reflected in the price. A player of Snodgrass’ intelligence, commitment and determination is not often as cheap as the board were able to achieve.
If there is a weakness in Snodgrass’ attacking game it can sometimes be his judgement. He will sometimes attempt the Hollywood pass when a simple through ball would do. This is something that Bilic can work with however.
Next: Is Snograss what we need, or what we want?
If Snodgrass is surrounded with better talent this may not be an issue. There is a good chance that those Hollywood passes could turn out better at West Ham as opposed to the frustration they ended up in at Hull.
