Manuel Lanzini – A DVD of last season’s performances

Last year Lanzini was our unsung hero. Whilst everyone was focused on Payet he was causing havoc as well with his quick feet, accurate passing and creative mind. This season…not so much.

He seems to have lost a little bit of a spark this year and that’s a shame. Who was better out of Firmino or Lanzini was genuinely a conversation people were having. This year you would have to trade many Lanzini’s to get one of the Brazilian.

Therefore I think a DVD showing him what made him so good last year would be good. As he takes a little break over Christmas, or on the train down to Swansea, just put some headphones in and watch some classy performances. That should do him the world of good.

But the infuriating this is he obviously has the talent, it’s somewhere. Bilic knows it. But Lanzini needs to find it again before he becomes another failed South American signing.
