The Post – Some new paint

Our most recent man of the match, the post, definitely deserves a mention.

In the game against Hull, we certainly didn’t defend well enough. There was the backpass from Aaron Cresswell which was underhit, leaving the Hull striker clean through. Thankfully our main man the post was there to mop up.

Then, because we thought the game wasn’t fun enough, Mark Noble went to liven it up. His header off a Hull cross ricocheted off the post and could have fallen anywhere, but thankfully Ogbonna could clear. Then add that to Andrew Robertson’s crashing strike which was about half an inch from bouncing back into the goal, however the post made sure it was not so.

As such I think it only fair to make sure the post gets a new lick of paint. It’s only fair to reward our best performers at Christmas!
