He was part of a five man defence who defended resolutely throughout the match, but struggled when they had a man sent off in the last 25 minutes.
Page is another youngster who is keen to impress, but must be slightly disappointed to be on loan. As a natural left back he was the heir-apparent to Aaron Cresswell, meaning his injury should have meant a chance for Page. However the player was deemed not up to scratch by Bilic and co, who bought in Arthur Masuaku.
He will be happy that he is still on West Ham’s books, as he still has a chance. However he will know he is running out of chances to prove himself.
