Centre-back Josh Pask will be hoping his West Ham coaches didn’t see his match this weekend. The young player was on the wrong end of a 5-0 thrashing when his Gillingham side took on Scunthorpe away from home.

Pask is considered ‘behind’ both Oxford and Burke in the defensive pecking order, causing him to seek action on loan. If he impresses at Gillingham there is still a chance he can move up into the squad, but we do have a lot of talent in that area. Top talents Oxford and Burke have already sought assurances of their places.
