Reece Oxford

I don’t care waht any of you say about Kouyate or Feghouli, Oxford was my man of the match.

He was composed, authoritative and brilliant in the tackle. His pace alongside Reid at the back makes them a great defensive pair and his passing when he had the ball at his feet was perfect. If this had been a young Arsenal/United player making this performance it would have been all over social media for weeks. For such a young player he coped with a tough game very well.

Future England captain. An almost flawless performance.

Winston Reid

When fit, Reid is a top defender. He is consistent and strong in the tackle and a big presence in the air. Didn’t have too much to do last night as Nk Domzale tried to focus on Antonio and Oxford, but he is a calming presence at the back.

Didn’t have too much to worry about, but did nothing wrong.
