Michail Antonio

HE IS NOT A RIGHT BACK.

Ok now that’s out of the way…. his performance last night was average. He didn’t do much wrong but against better opposition he would have been at fault for a goal or two. He is so naturally attacking that he gets caught out a lot, and if it hadn’t been for the superb Reece Oxford we might not have had a great start to life for West Ham in the London Stadium.

Almost set up a goal for Feghouli, but is being played out of position.

6/10

Sam Byram

Another player being played out of position due to injury to Aaron Cresswell, the young defender looked obviously uncomfortable at being played on the left rather than the right but he did well, making sure he was never beaten easily and he looked to be finding his feet in the team. Although I want any future performances to be on the right of the defence.

Mature, solid and at times adventurous going forward, he was the better of the two full backs in my opinion.

7/10
