The Premier League Transfer Window is entering it’s final month, and we look at the West Ham players who may be on their way out of the club this summer and where they could be off to

Diafra Sakho

Ah Diafra. The potential West Ham love song that fell apart after the first chorus. After a great start to life in Claret and Blue under Sam Allardyce it all started to fall apart for the striker after injury halted his progress in the side. With his fall in form came the team’s slide from 4th at Christmas to the lower half of the table by the end and his good start was a distant memory.

During his first season under Bilic his form was at best average, and a series of off field allegations in his private life did nothing to help his form on the pitch. He then reported to be injured and refused to travel with the team at points, after losing his place to Andy Carroll in the starting line-up.

There are strong indications that West Ham have accepted a £16m bid from West Brom and that looks to be the main interest at the moment, although it remains to be seen whether Sakho himself will “lower” his standards to move to the club and he is waiting for other options. If he’s still a West Ham player at the end of the window I will be amazed.

Enner Valencia

Enner Valencia has had a slightly rockier time with the West Ham fans with his form going up and down more often than any other player I can remember in a West Ham shirt. He’s scored some great goals, the long range hit against Hull and the freekick against Bournemouth are the two I can remember most clearly.

However he has never really built on the sparks of genius he’s shown, and it’s the poor finishing and passing in crucial areas that has meant West Ham fans are largely against him getting into the team at the moment.

The one thing I can say in Valencia’s defence is the fact he is still willing to put in a shift despite the fact he knows that he is likely to be heading off this summer, which is more than can be said for Sakho. Valencia’s most likely destination at the moment appears to be Galatasaray, with the Turkish team said to have met West Ham’s £12m valuation of the player.

Reece Oxford

This player is not anywhere near certain to leave, and it is no way something the club want to happen either, but it seems that recent interest in the player has made it more likely he could leave.

ExWhuEmployee has revealed that despite the player not particularly wanting to leave, the interest from the big clubs has meant he has been seeking out assurances regarding his first team involvement in the season to come.

I feel it would be a mistake for him to move so early to a big club, especially as Manchester United are one of the clubs he is being pursued by, because in their unwavering search for instant success youth does not often get a priority showing in the first tea,
