So we had a look at the positives that West Ham can take from pre-season, but what about the negatives? Given that we haven’t won a game yet, there’s definitely a few…

Ah Enner. I so wanted to like him when he joined West Ham. Hull away in his first season still lives fondly. However Enner Valencia has shown exactly why we no longer want him at the club and why the striker situation is so desperate to many fans.

His wayward free-kicks and poor to abject finishing have been highlighted in these friendly matches x especially the last two in Austria where he started the match both times.

Lazio are rumoured to have pulled out if the deal due to financial issues which have been in part caused by a fan protest against the president which saw only 11 season tickets sold on the first day of availability.

I hope we find a buyer soon because West Ham are rumoured to be close to signing at least two more strikers as well as the potential deal for Carlos Bacca coming to a head in the next couple if days.
