5 Good Things From West Ham’s Pre-Season
Playing style
One thing I have noticed this preseason is the distinct lack of goals scored from smashing the ball forward in a hit and hope situation. We’ve created chances through good passing, individual skill and finding that extra yard down the flanks of a team.
We’ve worked hard to regain possession in good areas and used it properly when we have it, even when we’ve started Carroll up front and the temptation ,ust be there to just hit it up to him and let his do his bit against some less physical opponents.
Bilic promised to take us up a notch in regard to passing style and he has done that, West Ham are virtually unrecognizable from the team that San Allardyce left just over a season ago. Both goals show considered buildup and measured passes.
