Mario Gomez

This might be a surprise name for some people but it is a name that has kept on coming up since the start of the window, with the only sticking point on the deal being wages. With an international reputation and the ability necessary to play at almost any level Gomez can command very high wages, and it seems increasingly unlikely that West Ham will pay them unless no other option presents itself. I think it’s a shame, as Gomez’s out and out poacher mentality would be great for the club.
