West Ham’s alternative striker targets to Bacca

As far as I’m aware this deal was never particularly likely, with both Gold and Sullivan unsure of whether the player’s temperament and attitude was something they wanted at the club. There was a rumour of a swap deal with Diafra Sakho, but the club were not convinced they were making a serious upgrade with that move. The latest rumour is that Berahino will join Pardew at Palace, with the Palace manager believing Berahino can help the club’s consistency throughout the season.
