7 Things To Take Away From West Ham’s Chelsea Clash
Adrian Looks In Decent Form
This one is kind of a double edged sword. Our goalkeeper had a good game, but the fact we found out isn’t great news.
They didn’t carve out many clear cut chances but sustained pressure meant that Adrian was called into action a lot. He made some good saves and appears to have worked on the command of his box and handling. These were the things that let him down last year, and he is one of the leagues best shot stoppers when on form.
Many people had predicted Randolph to start stepping in as the No.1 for West Ham, but it seems Bilic favours the Spaniard. I expect to see Randolph on Thursday when we take on Astra, but this competition is good. It would be great if we can see both goalkeepers pushing each other to be better this season. It certainly helps to have quality backup.
